Explorers

2 - 3 years

Our Explorers classroom is full of movement, imagination, and discovery. Two-year-olds are busy building friendships, expressing themselves, and learning new skills every day. Teachers guide them through sensory play, themed activities, and problem-solving experiences that help lay the foundation for preschool success.

“At two, the world is full of wonder—and we get to explore it together.”

"Where independence blooms and big-kid confidence grows."

In our twos classroom, children are busy building friendships, expressing themselves, and learning to do things “all by myself.” Teachers guide them through fun themed activities, sensory experiences, and early problem-solving play that lay the foundation for preschool success.

Building on Curiosity and Confidence

Our Explorers classroom is designed for busy, curious two-year-olds who are eager to learn, move, and do things “all by myself.” This stage is full of big feelings and exciting milestones, and our teachers provide the perfect balance of structure, patience, and fun to guide them along the way.

Through play-based learning, sensory exploration, and creative activities, children gain social, emotional, and cognitive skills that set the foundation for preschool success.

Learning Through Experience

Each day offers opportunities for discovery, problem-solving, and creative thinking — all while reinforcing early social skills like sharing, listening, and cooperation.

Explorers enjoy a more defined daily schedule that includes:

Potty Training Made Positive

Potty training begins when children enter the Explorers program. Our teachers approach this important milestone with patience and positivity, keeping it stress-free and natural.

  • Frequent scheduled potty breaks incorporated into the daily schedule to help build consistency.

  • Children are encouraged to do as much of the process independently as possible — pulling down pants, throwing away diapers, flushing, and washing hands - with gentle support as needed

  • Teachers provide calm, encouraging guidance and step in to help when needed.

By making potty time part of the regular routine, we take the pressure off and build confidence along the way.

Growing Together

Our Explorers classroom is full of laughter, learning, and connection. Teachers nurture independence while providing loving guidance, helping children gain confidence in who they are and what they can do.

It’s a year of big steps, big emotions, and even bigger growth — and we’re right there beside them every step of the way.
